Fall doesn't bring too many wanted things with it. Sure the leaves change color and its cooler outside, but it also means that school is beginning, everything is dying, and winter is just around the corner. Fortunately to make it all worth it we are blessed with college football in the fall. More specifically we are blessed with these guys:
Yep, the Utes football season begins tonight against the Pittsburgh Panthers. This season is going to present a lot of challenges. We have a young defense, a tough schedule, and a target on our backs since today also marks the beginning of our MWC farewell tour as we prepare to depart and join the PAC10. Perhaps the most challenging thing is that I have no cable TV anymore which means all my viewing will be done at either sport bars or through semi-legal computational means.
Nevertheless one can't help, but be excited. Not even having to write a PhD dissertation can get in the way. Even children raised in completely unbiased households can tell there is something special going on. No, those are not my offspring, but we share about 25% of the same DNA. Clearly its the good part.
