Yo, Brontomerus

Back in 1994 a bunch of dino bones were dug up. They belonged to one of those long neck dinosaurs. Now, almost 20 years later someone took a closer look at these bones and decided the hips were so big that this wasn't just another long neck dino, but a whole new kind of long neck dino. Knowing that a big hip bone like that would have a lot of meat on it they generously named the new dino Brontomerus, which rather fittingly means "thunder thighs".

This is actually pretty cool. Its no Tyrannosaurus or raptor, but still cool. As my friend Jarvis pointed out, its cool like when you go to the zoo and see the elephants. They're big and stomp around. Neat. Of course when you turn the corner and see the snow leopards pouncing on turkeys (which I have seen) you sort of forget about the elephants. Anyway, Brontomerus and paleontologists everywhere help teach us that in millions of years when our remains are uncovered by some other civilization we will likely be classified into separate species based on such extreme differences like the size and girth of our legs, but I digress. For now, enjoy your time in the limelight Brontomerus as the dino with the widest load...until Badonkadonk rex is discovered.
