This is a ceiling fan. I have one very much like it in the room I have lived in for 4 years. Fans are generally used for cooling an individual. So why would someone go and make a switch that makes a fan not cool an individual, but rather do just the opposite? And why did someone flip this switch on my fan? And why did I just discover this yesterday, the day after Seattle set a new heat record?Friday, July 31, 2009

Sounds painful out there. Chicago has been having an unusually cool summer. I never thought the weather would be better here than in Seattle.
